system offering the calculation of door to door travel itineraries between European cities.<br><br>
EU-Spirit is not a travel planner in itself. The system only compiles information from existing travel planners to a
total door to door itinerary. Therefore, EU-Spirit is only involved when a customer does not only want to travel inside a
regional transport system or between two main stations, but instead needs an itinerary from one local stop to another local
stop in another region.<br><br>
EU-Spirit aims at becoming a travel information system covering all of Europe.
All operators of internet based travel planners are therefore invited to join the system and thereby offer additional
services to their customers. Up to now the following regions participate in the system:<br><br>
