Central costs
The annual operation expenses are paid by the EU-Spirit providers depending on their servers' requests and area sizes.

Investments in new functionalities (e.g. integration of flights) have to be decided by the working group and are financed if necessary with additional shares by all providers.

The integration of new providers of the EU-Spirit service will lead to additional costs for the update of the central components and for consultation. These costs have to be paid by the new providers and are expected to be between 5,000 EUR and 10,000 EUR depending on the new travel planning system.
